| USA Rice to Create 'How To' Cooking Videos in Canada |
TORONTO -- A USA Rice Federation survey found that teaching consumers how to properly cook rice will likely increase their usage. To demystify the process, USA Rice is creating three brief Web videos that demonstrate the ease of cooking rice on the stove top, in the microwave and with a rice cooker. The videos will include step-by-step directions in English and French.
The tutorials, which will be filmed later this month, will be promoted during USA Rice's first Canadian national media relations campaign in early May and through future social media activities. They will be posted on USA Rice's YouTube channel and Web site and on the Canadian Web site, www.riceinfo.com.
USA Rice's strategic domestic partnership with Aroma Housewares Company has been extended to Canada this year, and includes rice cookers as prizes during promotions. The Aroma logo will be used in promotional materials on the Web site and in the videos.
