Sunday Afternoon in Wine Country
Date: Sunday, June 22, 2008
Time: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Fee: $80 per person

Clos Pegase Winery – You will first arrive at “ the intersection of wine and art.” In the mid 1980s, a new wine estate set out to build something more than a roof and walls, incorporating the majesty of its natural setting and providing a showcase for an extensive art collection. The spectacular structures created by Princeton architect Michael Graves and the surrounding sculpture garden have been hailed as " America 's first monument to wine and art." Home also to 20,000 square feet of aging caves carved deep into a rock knoll, as well as a renowned Cave Theater, Clos Pegase has a fascinating story and a wine style which is “most of all, about the balance of sophisticated elegance and inviting food-friendliness.”

Mumm Napa – The allure of sparkling wine awaits you at the elegant Mumm Napa winery, where you will gain an appreciation of its customs and process – as well as enjoy what Wine Enthusiast Magazine has called " one of the best tasting experiences in America ." Along with the world's best sparkling wines, Mumm Napa wines are made using a complex process called méthode traditionelle, originated in Champagne over a century ago. While sparkling wine is often served at the beginning of a meal or with dessert, it can complement an entire meal. Enhance your wine education as well as enjoy a gracious setting and fine sparkling wine on your visit to Mumm Napa.

Please note: This event is not available to anyone under the age of 21. The fee includes transportation to Clos Pegase and Mumm Napa, tours and tastings.
