IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW:

Hotel Check In/Check Out: Hotel check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. Guests arriving earlier will be checked in as soon as rooms become available, but are not guaranteed check-in prior to 4 p.m. Additional charges will be assessed to those staying beyond check-out time. (To request a late check-out, please inquire at the front desk.)

Airports: Three main airports serve the Napa region. The airports and one-way mileage to the Silverado are: Metropolitan Oakland International (OAK), 50 miles; San Francisco International (SFO), 72 miles; and Sacramento International Airport (SMF), 73 miles. Please factor in your arrival day/time as well as distance between the airport and the Silverado (for example, Friday afternoon traffic from San Francisco will be heavier than from Sacramento).

Airport/Hotel Shuttle Service: Evans Inc. will provide transportation to/from the San Francisco and Metropolitan Oakland International Airports. One-way fare is $45 per person ($34.50 for children 12 and under). Advance reservations can be arranged by calling (707) 255-1559 or (707) 944-2025. Twenty-four hours notice is required for pick-up from the hotel to the airport. Click here for pickup times from the airports and more information.
Please note:
There is no shuttle service from Sacramento International Airport.

Rental Cars: Rental cars provide the easiest way to get around Napa. Several rental car agencies are located at each airport. Car rental may be available onsite via the hotel concierge desk, which also can provide information on car/driver options and group transportation.

Silverado Transportation: The Silverado offers complimentary shuttle service within the resort only, which includes to/from hotel spa, golf and tennis facilities, and hotel restaurants.

Restaurants: Reservations are required at almost every restaurant in Napa. Click here for a listing of area restaurants. Advance reservations at Silverado restaurants also are recommended, which can be done online on www.silverado.com.
Please note:
Some restaurants are closed on certain days of the week (check this restaurant listing and confirm by calling the restaurant directly with questions). Most Napa restaurants do not take late (past 9 p.m.) reservations. The convention has scheduled Sunday and Monday receptions earlier this year to accommodate local restaurant hours.

Advance Reservations: Advance reservations for dining, golf, spa and other activities at the Silverado and at other venues in the Napa Valley are strongly recommended.

Weather: In June, average daily temperatures in the Napa Valley range from a high of 79 to a low of 51 degrees.

Dress: Convention dress is business casual, with coat and/or tie optional for gentlemen throughout the convention, including dinner and dancing on Wednesday evening.

Photo Release: Any photographs taken by RMA/USA Rice Federation may be used in publicizing RMA/USA Rice Federation events including conventions.
