Categories and Annual Dues
Effective August 1, 2003

$9,000 TRADER Any entity that buys, sells and takes title to milled or rough rice but does not mill rice.
$5,000 BROKER Any entity that acts as agent for rice contracts/sales, but does not take title of rice.
$5,000 MERCHANDISER Any entity that buys and/or sells only rough rice.
$5,000 USER Any entity that buys rice and rice products.
$1,500 ALLIED SERVER* Any entity not included in the classifications above.
    * RMA Online available to this category of membership for an annual subscription of $250.
    $250 Allied Server RMA Online Subscription.

RMA's Board of Directors will review the application. Dues are for the association's fiscal year beginning August 1 and will be prorated accordingly. Contributions to RMA are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes. In compliance with the Omnibus Budget Rcconciliation Act of 1993, a portion of membership dues is not deductible as a business expense due to lobbying activities. Notice of the non-deductible portion will be provided annually and with dues notices.

Companies eligible for RMA mill membership are not eligible for associate membership.
