Focus on the Farmer

ARLINGTON, VA – As Nobel Prize winner Ralph Bunche said, “If you want to get an idea across, wrap it up in a person.”  Following that lead, USA Rice is introducing a new feature today to bring attention to the folks who help put U.S.-grown rice on America’s plates - and to let them tell the real story of food production in their own words.

The week-long series, called Focus on the Farmer, starts today on Facebook and introduces Arkansas rice farmer Ryan Sullivan talking about why he farms, the challenges he faces competing in today’s global marketplace, and how he and his family are making a difference for the environment.
