2005 Rice Awards Nominations Due by August 1

WASHINGTON, July 14, 2005 — The deadline to nominate candidates for the 2005 Rice Awards Program is August 1. Three awards are presented annually: Rice Farmer of the Year, the Rice Industry Award and the Rice Lifetime Achievement Award. Winners will be honored at a special awards presentation during the USA Rice Outlook Conference, December 4-6, Austin, TX.
