The 2019 RMA Convention will be held at The Fairmont Orchid, Kohala Coast, Hawaii, which is located on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Hotel Reservations

Reservations may be made online or by calling 808-885-2000 or 1-800-441-1414.  Ask for the special RMA Convention rate.  Hotel reservations must be made no later than May 10, 2019.  

Reservations made after May 10 and/or after the convention’s room block is full are subject to space and rate availability.  Please make your reservations early and request a confirmation number.

Room Rates, Dates, and Availability

Special RMA Convention rates are offered on a limited number of rooms for Tuesday, June 11 through Friday, June 14 on a first-come, first-served basis.  These rates are available up to three days prior and three days after the official convention dates, based on hotel availability.  

Singe/Double Room Rates (before tax and applicable fees):

  • Partial Ocean View:  $319.00
  • Ocean View:  $349.00

Hotel Parking

Self-parking is complimentary.  Valet parking is $10 per vehicle per day.

Airport

The Fairmont Orchid is located 20 minutes from Kona International Airport and all major rental cars companies are located at the Kona International Airport.

Resort Fees

RMA has negotiated a reduced resort fee of $15 (taxable) per night per room.  This fee will automatically be added to your hotel bill.  Your daily resort fee includes:
  • Unlimited basic internet in your guest room and resort public areas
  • Self-parking for one vehicle per room
  • One-hour snorkel equipment rental (based on two sets per room per day)
  • Any local, domestic long distance, and 1-800 access calls from your guest room
  • 10% discount on published pricing for Hawaii Loa Luau when booked through concierge
  • Cultural Activities including Outrigger Canoe Rides, Daily Arts and Crafts, Cultural Hikes, Tide Pool, and Snorkel Introductions
  • Cultural Activities, Shuttle Service, and Snorkel Rentals are subject to availability

Hotel Deposit and Cancellation

All reservations must be received by May 10, 2019, with a non-refundable deposit equal to the first night’s room and tax.  Each extra adult person sharing a room will be charged an additional $75.00 plus tax per night, beginning with the third adult.  No charge for children under age 18.  You may to cancel your reservations up to 60 days prior to arrival.  Refunds will be give except one night’s non-refundable room and tax deposit. 

Check-In/Check-Out Times

Check-in time is 4:00 PM; check-out is 11:00 AM.  Guests arriving before 4:00 PM will be accommodated as rooms are available.
