Hot Honey Salmon Bites

These delicious hot honey salmon bites are spicy, zesty, and pair so well with a big bowl of rice!

This easy recipe stars U.S.-grown jasmine rice and comes to us from our friend Gal of Something Nutritious in partnership with USA Rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs salmon, cubed
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • olive oil 
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 2 tsp lime zest 
  • hot honey (spicy honey)
  • 3 cups jasmine rice, cooked

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  • Remove the skin from the salmon and slice it into 1” cubes. Add the cubes to a large bowl and drizzle with about 2 tbsp olive oil. Add in all of the spices and toss together to coat the salmon.
  • Transfer the salmon cubes to a parchment lined sheet pan, making sure they don’t overlap.
  • Bake the salmon for about 8-10 minutes, then set it under the broiler for 2 more minutes.
  • Once ready, top with lime zest, fresh lime juice and a generous drizzle of hot honey and serve over rice.
