The time-of-use program runs during June, July and August and allows participants to pay a lower price for power used during "off-peak" hours, which is any time outside of 2 to 6 p.m., on weekdays. Energy use that is not shifted to "off-peak" hours is subject to a higher price than the standard irrigation rate.
