ARLINGTON, VA – Bryson Stone joined USA Rice this week in the Arlington office, where he will be working as a government affairs intern throughout the summer.
Born and raised in Texas, Bryson is a rising senior at Texas A&M University, pursuing a B.S. in Agricultural Economics with a concentration on policy and economic analysis.
Bryson grew up on a cotton farm near Lubbock, Texas, where he developed a deep appreciation for the agricultural industry at a young age. This passion has since fueled his long-term goal of advocating for farmers and producers with hopes of impacting agriculture on a national scale.
Bryson is a member of the Texas A&M University Livestock Judging Team and College of Agriculture & Life Sciences Student Council, serving on the Programs Committee. Last summer, he completed an internship with Bayer Crop Science focusing on row crop production.
While in Washington this summer, Bryson is participating in the Texas A&M Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy Internship Program (ANRP) designed to give students real-world policy experience.
“I am excited to kick off my summer with USA Rice,” said Bryson. “Through the ANRP program, I am looking forward to expanding my experience outside of rural America, learning more about the ag policy sector and inner workings of a legislative environment, and hopefully making some career choices.”
