The USA Rice Millers' Association (RMA) is one of the oldest agri-business organizations in the U.S., founded in 1899. Then, as now, RMA is the national trade association of the U.S. rice milling industry. RMA membership supports government affairs work as well as international market access and trade policy initiatives.
RMA Membership is divided into two categories: Mill Members who are a proprietor, partnership, or corporation actively engaged in rice milling in the United States, and Associate Members defined as a proprietor, partnership, or corporation that which is not sufficiently and actively engaged in rice milling in the United States (i.e. traders, brokers, merchandisers, users, and allied servers) but still has a significant interest in issues that impact the rice milling industry.
