ARLINGTON, VA – USA Rice recently welcomed Breedlove Foods, Inc., as an Enterprise Partner in the “Institution” category that includes groups such as foundations, non-profit organizations, NGO’s, and research institutions.
Based in Lubbock, Texas, Breedlove Foods is a commercial-sized, non-profit food processor dedicated to humanitarian aid. Since 1994, they have distributed more than 2 billion servings of food to communities both in the United States and abroad, covering more than 70 countries and counting, successfully addressing the nutritional needs of vulnerable populations.
“The U.S. rice industry is known for giving back, whether through rice donations to local food banks or food aid shipped around the globe,” said Jacob Broussard, Chair of the USA Rice Food Aid Subcommittee. “We are honored to have Breedlove Foods and their inventory of shelf-stable, dry ingredients join our team, and we look forward to their input on USA Rice efforts to deliver nutritious, low-cost humanitarian food aid.”
