Ingredients

  • 3 cups medium grain rice, steamed
  • 4½ cups water
  • 1¼ cups bean sprouts
  • 2 bunches watercress, blanched
  • 4 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • ½ cup carrot, large, julienned, sautéed
  • 2 pounds soy marinated flank steak, grilled, sliced
  • 6 eggs each, sunny side up
  • 1½ cups kimchi
  • ½ cup gochujang
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds

Directions

  • Soak the short grain rice in the water for 30 minutes before steaming the rice until tender. Hold rice hot until ready to serve.
  • Separately toss the bean sprouts and watercress with 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and 1 teaspoon of garlic.
  • Place 1¼ cups of rice in a bowl and top with the following toppings:
    -¼ cup bean sprouts
    -¼ cup watercress
    -2 tablespoons carrot
    -3 ounces marinated steak
    -1 egg, each
    -2 tablespoons kimchi
    -1 tablespoon gochujang
    -1 teaspoon sesame seeds
